Congratulations Ms. Teri Boudreau and the Donovan Elementary Students!
Ms. Boudreau was awarded $500 from the Eastern Illini Electric Coop for her grant request for a Teach the Way They Learn Project!
Ms. Boudreau plans to use the grant dollars to create a store within her classroom that would incorporate the students as both workers and customers.
There would be advertising posters, weekly sales, a cash register, an account ledger to track both spending for the store and what the customer purchases.
Thank you Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative and Ms. Boudreau!

ATTENTION BOOSTER BASKETBALL PLAYERS AND PARENTS:
Group Photos will take place this Saturday, March 4th. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your game to allow time for the photos to be taken.
Thank you!

Congratulations to Donovan's PE department on receiving a grant from the Eastern Illini Electric Coop. They plan on purchasing two sets of Sabakiball a $2,500 value and with the grant this will only cost the district about $100 to add this new sport to our PE curriculum! Here is a video on Sabakiball. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzOIAylSCXg Great job!

The Psychology class made menus for a zombie restaurant. The goal was to make a creative menu that includes parts of the brain in each dish. The description of the dishes shows what each part of the brain is responsible for. Connor Stahlschmidt, Makayla Austin, and Manny Lopez did an excellent job meeting all requirements, see for yourself!

Pictured is our E-Sports team after school practicing for the upcoming season. Mr. Benda, High School History Teacher, is our E-Sports coach. We are excited about the upcoming IHSA season and proud to have started the first E-Sports team in Iroquois County! 🎮
