Our 7th graders completed their Tribal Mask Project for Mr. Loy's Social Studies class. These always turn out so awesome and the kids have a great time making them!

Bernie Hinrich and Nena Mayotte of the Kankakee-Iroquois County Women's Golf Association presented the Donovan Boy's and Girl's Golf Team with a check of $400.00, a Ping Putter, Golf balls, Tees, Golf Covers, Hats, Golf Gloves, Umbrella, and Golf Towels. The Women's Golf Association has put on a Tournament for the past 53 years to donate to area High School Golf Teams. In addition, they receive donations from area golf courses, have a raffle, and put on a Golf Clinic for Junior Golfers. The Donovan Golf Program would like to thank the Kankakee-Iroquois County Women's Golf Association for the generous donation. It is truly appreciated!
This summer DHS will be offering Summer School. This is for students who need to recover credits that are required for graduation. Specifically students who need to make-up credits in Math, English, Social Studies, and Science. Please register by May 25th. Evan Lopez placed 8th in the 800 Meter at STATE, with a time of 2:22.96! He also beat the school record, which was set in 1987 by Jamey Hamilton, with a time of 2:22.97.
